The X431 Standard for Metal provides a good finish when grinding edges and welded seams as well as coarse-sanded metal surfaces. Its semi-friable aluminium oxide grit is robust and wear-resistant, producing a consistent finish. The sturdy backing material is x-cloth: providing stability when grinding for clean and even results. The X431 Standard for Metal is compatible with angle grinders.
The grit is bonded using fully synthetic resin for wear resistance in heavy-duty applications. The carrier plate is available in both angled and straight, fibreglass and plastic versions.
