Description

LOCTITE® SI 587 is a metallic blue, oxime RTV silicone paste designed for gasketing and sealing applications in plant maintenance and OEM manufacturing.

As a form-in-place gasket (FIPG) sealant, it provides excellent sealing performance against industrial and automotive engine oils. Its thixotropic properties help prevent migration after application, ensuring reliable dispensing and quality control in both automated and manual applications.

This product is typically used in demanding applications up to 260°C (500°F).
